The Observer is the weekly paper for CWU. It's really not very good, but they certainly try hard. Every quarter basically has all new people on the staff. It is a learning paper, and anyone can take the class. I did the political cartoon weekly in the 2001-2002 school year, and the 2002-2003 school year until the last quarter, when they told me that they got someone else to do the comic strip after I had already submitted a comic for the first of the quarter. That was pretty silly of them, considering the new cartoonist flat out sucked. They came back to me a little later on to do a political cartoon, and then I returned again in 2004 to continue work with them. Some of these are missing, probably because I didn't get the paper that week. All of my archives were lost in the great virus disaster of '03, so I rely solely on hard copies now.

I did all the strips on paper, scanned into and put together in Photoshop. Enjoy. I will try to explain them as I go along.
