The Daily Record is the local newspaper for Ellensburg, WA. I went down to the newspaper's offices early my freshman year in college, and submitted some of my work. They agreed to publish a political cartoon of mine in their weekly university section. I did a political cartoon a week for about a school year, then the next school year, I asked if I could do a story based comic, and they agreed. That's where I Have No Friends ended up. I don't currently do a comic for the paper, due to time constraints. Sad, really. Not like I got paid or anything, though.
